AMBER
A collection of remixes.
Between the years 1992 - 1994 I used to produce with a small equipment of analogue and digital machines some series of longer Ambient tracks, archived them on cassettes and let them fall in a deep sleep after this, waiting patiently for their use one day. When I heard them again some months ago, they hadn´t lost anything of their special atmospheres for me. So… I went to digitalize them, cut them here and there and after that process I recorded some real noisy remixes from the results. Six of them are summarised here in format of this digital edition, a collection of those tracks which were in their first versions under a very strong influence from the sounds of Jon Hassell´s Fourth World albums – but: i didn´t use any sample from there or somewhere else!
